This policy explains how Tagg Merchandise (“Tagg”, “we” or “us”) handles personal information collected through taggmerchandise.ae and related quotation enquiries. For privacy questions or requests, contact sales@taggmerchandise.ae.
When you request a quotation, we collect your name, email, company, delivery emirate, selected products, options and quantities. You may also provide your phone number, preferred delivery date, budget and project or branding notes. We retain the enquiry reference, submission date, status and a record of your consent and the privacy-policy version presented to you.
We also receive information you choose to provide in correspondence. Our website and hosting services process technical information, such as IP addresses, browser details, access times and security or error events, to operate and protect the service. Our enquiry system uses protected identifiers derived from IP addresses and email addresses to limit abusive submissions.
You do not need an account to submit an RFQ. The RFQ form does not collect payment-card details. Please avoid sending identity documents, passwords, sensitive personal information or unnecessary information about other people in project notes.
We use information to respond to enquiries, prepare quotations, discuss products and branding, arrange agreed projects and delivery, maintain business correspondence and protect the website from misuse.
We rely on consent where required. Where applicable UAE law permits, we may also process information to take steps you request towards a contract, perform a contract with you, meet specific legal obligations or establish or defend legal claims. Visiting the website is not consent to unrelated uses of your information.
You can withdraw consent by emailing us. Withdrawal does not affect earlier lawful processing. We will stop processing that depends on that consent, subject to any other applicable legal basis for retaining or using the information. Without necessary contact details, we may be unable to handle your enquiry.
Our shortlist and comparison tools use local browser storage to remember selected products and options. These selections can remain until you remove them or clear the website’s stored data.
The quotation form uses session storage to keep your draft while you browse. Use “Clear saved brief” to remove it. Some browsers can preserve session information when restoring a browsing session. Your RFQ is sent to our enquiry system when you select “Send order request”. Successful submission clears the submitted draft and selection unless you have made newer changes.
Functional cookies or storage may also support website sessions, authorised logins, security and performance. You can manage stored data through your browser, although blocking it may affect saved selections or other features.
Optional Google Analytics runs only after you choose “Allow analytics”. Choosing “Essential only” keeps it off and does not prevent browsing, selecting products or submitting an enquiry. The Google Analytics tag is not loaded before permission is given.
We remember your analytics choice in local browser storage for 180 days. If you allow analytics, Google uses first-party cookies, including _ga and _ga_6LLTCMD6SS, to distinguish browser visits and maintain session information. Our configuration limits these cookies to 180 days from creation and does not renew their expiry on each page load. Your browser may remove them sooner.
You can change your choice at any time using “Cookie settings” in the footer. Choosing “Essential only” stops further Analytics collection by our integration, removes its accessible Analytics cookies and reloads the page. It does not erase information already processed by Google or your saved product selections and quotation draft. Clearing the website’s browser storage also removes the remembered consent choice. If your browser blocks preference storage, your choice can only be remembered for the current page.
With your permission, we use Google Analytics 4 to understand visits, pages viewed, scrolling, links followed to other websites and clicks on ordinary download links. We also measure confirmed enquiry submissions with the number of product lines and total units requested, so we can assess how well the website helps customers contact us.
Analytics information can include a pseudonymous browser identifier, device and browser characteristics, language, approximate location, referral information and interaction times. Google receives connection information, including your IP address, when an Analytics request is made. This is not anonymous simply because it does not include your name.
Our enquiry analytics events exclude names, email addresses, telephone numbers, company details, project notes and enquiry references. Page and referrer URLs are supplied without query strings or fragments. We do not enable personalised advertising, remarketing or Google advertising features in this configuration. Your analytics choice is separate from the information needed to handle an RFQ and from any marketing subscription.
Authorised people handling customer enquiries and website administration can access the information needed for their work. We use Hostinger for website hosting and business email, including storage and delivery of enquiry notifications. Relevant technical service providers may assist with maintenance and security.
Where necessary for your requested quotation or agreed project, we may share relevant details with production partners, suppliers or couriers. We limit personal information shared to what the task requires. Information may also be disclosed to professional advisers or authorities where legally required or permitted. We do not sell or rent personal information.
Hosting, email, support and backup services may involve processing outside the UAE. Hostinger’s data processing terms limit processing to the agreed services and instructions, impose security responsibilities and require contractual controls over relevant subcontractors. We also use HTTPS and restricted administrative access to protect information handled through our website.
If you allow analytics, Google processes measurement information through its international infrastructure, which can involve processing outside the UAE, including in the United States. Google’s Privacy Policy explains its practices, and its applicable data processing terms address processing instructions, security, subprocessors and international transfers.
Overseas processing remains subject to the requirements of applicable UAE data protection law. These provider terms are not a statement that every destination or transfer has regulatory approval. You can contact us for information about the recipients and safeguards relevant to your enquiry.
The website is configured to remove enquiry records older than 365 days from submission through scheduled cleanup. The exact deletion time depends on scheduled processing and whether a notification is still being sent. Records may be removed earlier when no longer needed or following a valid deletion request.
This website setting does not automatically erase email copies, downloaded files or separate business records. Relevant correspondence may be retained for active quotations, agreed projects, required accounting records or legal claims, and is deleted or anonymised when no longer needed. Technical logs follow their operational or security purpose and the relevant provider’s retention arrangements. Restricted backups may retain information until they expire or are overwritten.
Our Google Analytics user-level and event-level data retention setting is two months, with the option to reset user retention on new activity switched off. Google applies scheduled deletion after the retention period. This setting does not remove standard aggregated reports, which may remain available for longer. Browser preference and Analytics cookie periods are described above.
Subject to applicable UAE law and its conditions, you may request information about our processing, access to your personal information, correction, deletion or restriction. You may withdraw consent, object to direct marketing and certain other processing, and request a portable copy or transfer where the legal conditions apply.
Email sales@taggmerchandise.ae, preferably from the address used for your enquiry, with your request and reference if available. We may ask for proportionate identity verification. We will respond in accordance with applicable legal requirements and explain any lawful limitation. You may also complain directly to the competent UAE data protection authority.
We use access controls, HTTPS and measures intended to protect enquiry information. No online service can guarantee absolute security. If a personal-data breach occurs, we will investigate and make notifications required by applicable law.
The website automatically validates, records and checks RFQs for abuse. A reference confirms receipt, not acceptance of a contract. Our team reviews quotations and commercial decisions. You can contact us about a submission problem or request human review of an automated decision affecting you.
Contact about your quotation is separate from promotional marketing. Submitting an RFQ does not itself subscribe you to newsletters or authorise unrelated promotions. Where we offer marketing subscriptions, we obtain the permission required by law and provide a way to opt out.
If you follow external links or use a third-party messaging service to contact us, that provider’s privacy terms also apply.
We may update this policy as our services and data practices develop. The date and version above identify the current notice. Where changes require additional notice or fresh consent, we will provide it before relying on the changed processing.
